How do you get rid of burning eyes fast? What can cause a burning sensation in your eyes?

Increased screen time and exposure to pollution as well as changing lifestyle can often cause burning sensation in eyes. Following are 3 quick steps for quick relief from the blistering effects:

  1. Take 2 cotton pads and dip it in rose water or freshly squeezed cucumber juice. Keep the cotton pads on your eyes for 5-10 minutes and relax. This will give you an instant cooling effect.

  2. Vitamin A is very essential for our eyes and can be obtained from your daily diet by consuming Papaya, Carrot, Mango and Milk.

  3. One more hack to prevent tiring of your eyes is, while working on screens for every 20 minutes, take your eyes away from the screen for 20 seconds. Rub both your palms against each other and keep them on your closed eyes. This will give them relief from the strain due to increased screen time.
